INTRODUCTION
In the last study, we considered ‘The Seventh Time’ ; the time of completion, of breakthrough, of freedom and blessings. We were encouraged to wait and persevere till the seventh time so that we do not miss at the edge of our breakthrough.
Today’s study considers a new topic; the man on the mountaintop it is my prayer that God would bless us as we study in Jesus name (Amen).
CENTRAL BIBLE PASSAGE: 1 KINGS 18:36-46
A. THE MAN ON THE MOUNTAIN TOP
The man who is going to the higher level or to the mountaintop must have certain peculiarities or characteristics. Some of these peculiarities are clearly manifested in the life of Elijah the Tishbite the great prophet of the LORD.
Some peculiarities identifiable with Elijah the prophet include the following:
- Discipline;
- Determination to get to the top.
- Willingness to be His distinct ; you can make up your mind to stand out for Christ. You can press further and be outstanding. Amongst the outstanding ones you can go further to be a unique vessel in the hand of God.
- Humility ; you are the one to humble yourself. You need to realise you are nothing without God. Everyone is a miserable failure without God.
- Ability to be with God always . God wants you to be His lover first and foremost. Understand the Seventh time principle. They did not wait for the divine timing to actualise their miracle. Anyone who intends to get to a higher level must be a champion who never quit until the seventh. People on the higher level never give up. The Lord Himself prayed Three (3) times on a particular occasion. At times, you pray or do certain things seven times.
Remain steadfast and faithful. Your seventh time would come and your life would never be the same again in Jesus’ name (Amen).BIBLE REFERENCES:
